MANUFACTURE IN AUSTRALIA PRODUCTION TO BEGIN IN 18 MONTHS. OUTPUT TO RISE TO 20.000 A YEAR. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The “Sydney Morning Herald" says a company with a nominal capital of a million pounds will be formed soon by Australian Consolidated Industries Ltd., to manufacture motor-cars in Australia. Production is expected to begin in about eighteen months. The company hopes to make 8,000 vehicles in the first year, rising in five years to a production of 20,000 units annually.
