MURDER TACTICS
ATTACKS ON FISHERMEN BY NAZIS. KING EXPRESSES HORROR & INDIGNATION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received This Day. 10.15 a.m.) LONDON. December 2. Conversing with representatives of the Trawlers' Federation, during a visit to the Ministry of Agriculture, his Majesty expressed horror and indignation at the machinegunning of British fishermen by the Nazis. GERMAN DENIALS. ACTION TO BE CONTINUED RELENTLESSLY. (Recevied This Day. 10.15 a.m.) BERLIN. Deceber 21. The authorities vigorously denied that the Germans sank innocent fishing smacks off the British coast. They claimed that vessels equipped with radio might possibly do some fishing, but mainly served to report the approach of German aircraft, and naval vessels. The British coast is a belligerent area, it was added, and Germany's action was justified and would be relentlessly continued. The sinking of the Trinity yesterday was not mentioned.
