BAD LUCK OF JON HALL. Jon Hall, who flashed across Hollywood heavens for a brief period as the native boy in "The Hurricane," and whom critics believed was one of the best male finds in many a year, has been neglected and almost forgotten for over a year. A few weeks ago Edward Sroall announced he had signed him for the top role in "South of Pago Pago," another island story. But word has now leaked out from the Hollywood studio that he has been replaced by unknown Clayton Moore, former trapeze artist, and no explanations have been given.
