NEW YORK MURDER
BOXER CONFESSES TO CRIME. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received This Day, 11.0 a.m.) NEW YORK, 'December 19. The police state that Ernest Kehler, alias Ernie Haas, a 23-year-old pugilist. has been arrested at Toronto and has confessed to the murder of Dr Engelberg. The authorities said that there are neither political nor international implications. A Now York cable on December (> stated: The German Consul-General's secretary, Dr Walter Engelberg, was beaten to death with an axe or a hammer in his own home in the Jewish section of Brooklyn. The police are searching for a German-speaking man who shared his home.
