BLEACHED HAIR NOT EASY TO SHAMPOO. Shampooing bleached hair is not always easy as the hair becomes very sticky, slimy, and difficult. Warm and hot water causes this condition, and if cold water is used the fault will be practically overcome. It may not feel pleasant, but console yourself with the thought that cold water invigorates the scalp. Finish the shampoo with an acetic acid or vinegar rinse. Shampooing extremely oily hair: Much of the oiliness can be easily removed by first using cool water, and not using warm water until your second lathering. Shampoo for itchy head: Many mothers with children of school age frequently worry over itchy scalps. If you are at all doubtful of your child's scalp mix together equal parts of olive oil and kerosene, and apply to the hair prior to the shampoo.
