A BUSY DAY

FOR MAORI MINISTER. The Rev Hepa Taepa. of St Matthew's Parish, had a busy day yesterday. After speaking at the service in the Masterton Park he left for Trentham where he conducted a service for the officers and advance guard of the Maori Regiment. In addition to the troops who number 150. all the Maoris who had assembled in Wellington fertile opening of the Maori Court at the Exhibition joined in the service. The whole service was in Maori and the singing of the men was most inspiring. Later in the day Mr Taepa conducted Maori services al Waipoapoa and Te Ore Ore. and assisted in the evening service at St Matthew's CLutch, Masterton.
