“MOTOR MADNESS.” Tonight will mark the final screening of the thrilling “Motor Madness” together with the splendid drama. "The Man Who Liver Twice." “OLD BARN DANCE." “The Old Barn Dance.” starring Gone Autry, which will open on Friday night, at the Cosy Theatre, is a musical western with all the ingredients of high class entertainment. A logical story, based on the eflorts ol Autry and his crony. "Frog." ("Smiley Burnette) to sell horses to farmers at various rodeos through the westeZi United States, gives these two excellent actors an opportunity to display their talents in a forceful, amusing way. Autry is outstanding in this picture, but the characterisation of "Frog' runs him a close second. Helen Valkis as Sally is excellent. "The Old Barn Dance" is top-notch amusement from start to finish. Victor McLaglen, winner ol inc Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in 1935 lor his petlormtmce in "The Informer." is starred m Universal’s ■■Ex-Champ," the associate feature. McLaglen will be seen in the role of an ex-champion boxei. who has reared a worthless son. The boy is a snob who disdains the home ot his lather and who is ashamed lo be known as lite son of a broken-down fighter. Tom Brown will be semi in the principal featured role, with a east which includes Nan Grey. Constance Moore. Donald Briggs. William Frawley, Marc Lawrence. Samuel S. Hmds and Kid Chisscll. In addition the Btn chapter of the exciting serial. "I he Lone Ranger" will be screened.
