BLOOD TRANSFUSION
SPECIAL TRANSPORT PLANES. FOR USE IN FRANCE OR ENGLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON. December 13. A fleet, of aeroplanes has been specially fitted to transport blood for transfusion in the army hospitals in France, or in cities in England, in the event of air raid casualties.. The blood will be stored in bottles placed in cylindrical wire baskets in kapoklined boxes to ensure that the tempera lure does not vary move than 2 degrees in 24 hours.
