BOGUS SOCIALISM

NAZI & SOVIET SYSTEMS. BRITISH LABOUR LEADER'S SURVEY. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, December 10. The Leader of the Opposition, Mr Attlee, speaking at Bristol, declared (hat Nazi Socialism was merely national collectivism, "organised in the interests of a particular gang." It was not Socialism tit all. Though there was a great deal of collectivism in Germany, said Mr Attlee, there was no freedom, but tyranny. In Russia there wtis a perversion of Socialism, as there was a denial of individual freedom.

Expressing Labour’s disgust at Russia's attitude, he continued: "We have seen in the last few months a complete moving round of peopie who talked about democracy, about the freedom of small nations, for and against aggression, and who themselves committed an act of aggression against small peoples with a far higher standard than they had themselves."
