Clarke, Auckland, are staying at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton. Mr and Mrs Eric Jones and Mr and Mrs Keith Ralph, of Masterton, spent the weekend at Paraparaumu. Mr and Mrs A. Tait, of Otorohanga, are spending a few days in Featherston, and are the guests of Mr and Mrs W. Fellingham. of Featherston.

Miss Alice Batchelor, of Geraldine, who has been staying with Mr and Mrs Ashworth, South Featherston, is now the guest of her aunt. Mrs F. R. Burt, South Featherston. The death occurred in Wellington on Sunday of Sister Mary Regis (Miss Alma Card), who was a daughter of Mr Harry Card, and niece of Mr J. W. Card, of Featherston. The funeral took place in Wellington yesterday. Deceased was a niece of Mr J. W. Card. She belonged to the Order of Our Lady of Mercy, Wellington.
