FULLY ASSURED

WAR SUPPLY POSITION IN BRITAIN. STATEMENT BY MINISTER. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, December 9. Speaking at Uxbridge, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Supply, Colonel Llewellin, referred to next Wednesday’s secret session of the House of Commons, at which the general suply position will be discussed. He said: “I believe the account that the Government will be able to give will fully satisfy any of those who, through lack of information, may now be doubting.” He expressed the opinion that the armed forces in this war would be provided with better weapons than their enemies, and have ammunition for such weapons in far greater quantities than their predecessors in the last war. He was confident that the supply position was fully assured.
