ARMED RISING
ATTACK ON RUSSIAN TROOPS IN WEST UKRAINE. LONDON. December 9. An armed insurrection against the Soviet troops has broken out in the oil region of Dobogrytch. in the Western Ukraine. The insurgents attacked the troops and caused many casualties. Many Soviet officers and men are reported to have been taken to hospital in Lemberg. Capitalists at Lodz asked the Russians to use their influence to enable them to transfer their factories Ironi German-Poland and the Soviet is reported to have agreed.
