The Waikato Trotting Club’s summer meeting was held at Claudelands today in overcast weather. The track was‘holding. There was a fair attendance. Lawn Derby, driven by W. J O'Shea and paced by Wishful (M. Stewart) lowered the course record for a flying mile of 2.4 1-5, held by Impromptu, clocking 2.2 2-5.
