WAIRARAPA CRICKET

SATURDAY’S GAMES SENSATIONAL BOWLING. GOOD BATTING DISPLAYS. On Saturday Lansdowne seniors compiled 88 against Red Star, the small total being principally due to Newman Hoar, who captured 8 wickets for the small score of 12 runs. Red Star responded with 120 for 2 wickets, G. Lambourne playing good cricket for 64 not out. The Old Boys had a field day against Wairarapa College, compiling 220, of which Greene was responsible for an excellent 76 not out.
