Two world's billiards records were made by Walter Lindrum in the' last stage of his match against 10 Victorian amateurs. He made a break of 2466. which is the highest under the new baulk rule, and had an aggregate of 36,352 for a fortnight’s match. Lindrum conceded the 10 amateurs a start of 25.000. and beat them by 36.352 to 27.988.
