The "New York Times” Ottawa correspondent says the total cost of the Empire air scheme on a three-year basis is now estimated at 800.000.000 dollars. Britain is providing for 3,200 to 3.600 aeroplanes costing 200 000.000 dollars. Of the remaining 600.000.000 dollars Canada will contribute 80 per cent. Australia 12 per cent and New Zealand 8 per cent.
