A Ministry of Information communique states that, a destroyer. H.M.S. Jersey, was damaged by a torpedo yesterday. Two officers and eight ratings are believed to have been killed and twelve others injured. The Jersey reached harbour. The British destroyer which was sunk on November 13 was H.M.S'. Blanche.
