FORCES FROM DOMINIONS MR ANTHONY EDEN'S SURVEY. SPIRIT THAT MAKES VICTORY CERTAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, December 6. The Dominions Secretary, Mr Anthony Eden, in the House of Commons today quoted a reliable authority as expressing the opinion that the German army was physically inferior to the standard of 1914. The reverse was lhe case as far as Britain was concerned, he said. Splendid types had joined up to fight the Prussian spirit of military domination. Mr Eden said that, to increase still further lhe great improvement in the physique and general health of the men being called up the Government was taken steps to see how best to ensure good results in the field of nutrition during the war period. Each of the Dominions had placed the whole of their naval resources to co-operate with the Admiralty. On land Britain would soon have the co-operation of Australia. New Zeaand Canada in those fields of war in which they had won imperishable fame 25 years ago, he added. Turning to the air. Mr Eden said that a large part of the R.A.F. consisted of personnel from Dominions, and, over and above that, the new air scheme was going to bring to Britain's help thousands of pilots and air crews. He believed it was positive faith in parliamentary government by a free communtiy which called forth thesis examples of self-sacrifice and loyalty. “It is in that spirit, which I- find daily in the work which I have to do, that lies our certainty of ultimately winning this conflict,” he declared.
