She had served as a member of the committee for three years. Mrs Forsberg said that she hoped that Miss Larsen would join up with a Women's Institute where she would reside in future. Mrs Forsberg conveyed the best wishes of the members to Miss Larsen for her future happiness, and trusted she would never forget her fellow members of the Women’s Institute at Mauriceville. CROQUET CLUB MATCH AGAINST FEATHERSTON. The Mauriceville Croquet Club travelled to Featherston yesterday to play their first inter-club match against the Featherston Club, and very nearly beat a strong Featherston team. Darkness fell before the last game could be finished, and a fairly certain win was thus lost to the Mauriceville team. The following were the results (Mauriceville players being mentioned first in each instance): — Doubles: Mesdames McKeown and Freeman beat Mesdames Ayres and O’Neale, 2G/23; Mesdames Trass and Schorl lost to Mesdames Benton and Thomson, 17/26. Singles: Mrs McKeown lost to Mrs O’Neale, 16/26; Mrs Freeman beat Mrs Ayres, 26/7; Mrs Scherf lost to Mrs Benton, 17/26. Mrs Trass was six points ahead of Mrs Thomson when play was abandoned, with honours even. ,
