To encourage the production of complete motor-cars in Australia, the Commonwealth Government has decided to provide a subsidy up to £1,500,000 to assist in the launching of the industry. The Minister of Customs (Mi- Lawson) said the subsidy would be paid in the form of a bounty on complete engines produced in Australia.
