ROTARY CLUB

TALK ON WAR SITUATION IN ENGLAND. Rotarian J. J. Hunter presided over a good attendance at the weekly luncheon of the Masterton Rotary Club held in the Y.M.C.A. Hall today. Before the speaker of the day. Mr S. B. McLennan, A.R.C.A.. N.R.D.. of the Wairarapa College staff, gave his address, the president wished Rotarians the compliments of the season and expressed the hope that, next year would show a brighter outlook than lhe present one. Mi- McLennan gave a very interesting talk oti the war situation in England before his recent departure and on art and designing in general. On the motion of Rotarian T. Vaughan Mr McLennan was accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
