HITLER ON THE SCREEN

CHAPLIN’S NEW FILM. Charlie Chaplin, whose comedies helped us to win the last war. is said to bo realty letting himself go in his new “Dictator” picture now. According to present plans, he will have a dual rple with himself frankly and unequivocably as Hitler and as an unknown Jewish tailor in Berlin. The Fuehrer’s use of “doubles” will provide much of the comedy. After spending hours listening to recordings of Hitler’s speeches Chaplin has developed a remarkable impersonation of Awful Adolf's hysterical public speaking manner, although not one word he utters is actually German.
