NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Featherston County Council proposes, at its meeting to be held on FRIDAY, the Bth of December, 1939, at 10.30 a.m.. to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of tiie sum of £20,000 for the purpose of preparing, forming and sealing any road or main highway within the County. It is proposed that the interest, sinking fund and other charges of this loan after the first year be borne by the general account, but that a special rate be struck for security purposes. It is further proposed that interest and sinking fund charges for the first year, and the cost of raising the loan, be paid out of the loan moneys. Any person having any objections to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Featherston County Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
