PERSONAL
The Hon Adam Hamilton. Leader of the Opposition, returned to Wellington yesterday after a conference with members of the National Party in Christchurch. Advice has been received in Napier that Mr W. F. Stilwell. S.M.. Wellington. is to relieve Mr J. Miller. S.M. Napier (and formerly of Masterton) who is at present indisposed. Advice has been received in Masterton that Mr F. J. Hunn. who is an inmate of the. Huia private hospital, Auckland, is now well on the road to recovery. The Hon W. Lee Martin. Minister of Agriculture, will leave Wellington tomorrow night to attend the Royal Show in Invercargill. He expects to return to Wellington at the end of next week. Guests at the Empire Hotel (Masterton) today, arc Messrs Foster (Auckland), R. Darby <Patea), L. Morrison (New Plymouthi. Charlton and Campbell (Palmerston North). Devlin (Wellington).
