DEATH OF FOREMOST RADIOLOGIST. SUFFERINGS OVER MANY YEARS. By Telegraph—Press Associat ion—Copyright. (Recevied This Dav. 1.30 p.m.) LONDON. December 4. The "Daily Telegraph’s" Paris correspondent reports the death of the foremost radiologist. Charles Waillant. whose right forefinger had been amputated in 1906 owing to radium burns, his left forefinger in 1910. and his left hand in 1915, while his left shoulder was disarticulated in 1920. The progressive effects Caused his retirement in 1921.
