WAIRARAPA MATCHES. DRAW FOR SATURDAY. The following is the draw for the Wairarapa Lawn Tennis Associations inter-club competitions on Saturday. The Masterton and Memorial clubs will finish the Gawith Shield match commenced last Saturday, and this will be the only A grade fixture played. Tito matches are to take place on the courts of the team mentioned first in each instance: — A Grade.—Masterton v Memorial. B Grade.—Park v Mt Bruce; Carterton v Kuripuni; Memorial v Masterton. C Grade.—Greytown v Memorial; College v Carrington Park: Rangitumau v Park: St Patrick's a bye. EXHIBITION GAME. A small attendance of players and spectators were present at the Memorial Lawn Tennis Club's courts last night, when an exhibition singles match was played between the Government tennis coach. Mr R. Howe, and Mr P. Hawksworth. A gusty wind made condition unpleasant. The first set went to P. Hawksworth 6 -1. but R. Howe won the second 6/2. The play was of rather a patchy nature, only occasion flashes of form being shown.
