TOWN PLANNING

MASTERTON SCHEME. ENGINEER’S PROPOSALS CONSIDERED. At a special meeting of the Masterton Borough Council held last night consideration was given to a scheme submitted by the Borough Engineer. Mr C. R. Mabson, in connection with the Masterton Borough Town Planning scheme. Most of the time at the meeting was spent in examining and considering the zones suggested by the Engineer for residential, commercial and industrial areas and arrangements were made for another special meeting to be held after the Christmas vacation to consider in detail parts 1 and 2 of the draft regulations embracing these areas. It is intended by the council to give the public an opportunity to become familiar with the proposed scheme before it is finally approved by the council for submission to the Town Planning Board.
