WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
KAITUNA-FERNRIDGE. COMPETITION WINNERS. The monthly meeting of the Kai-tur.a-Fernridge Women’s Institute was held in the Kaituna Hall last Friday, Mrs J. Welch presiding over a goocr attendance of members. Arrangements were made for the Institute's dance which is to be held in the Kaituna Hail on December 9. During the afternoon a visitor to the Institute gave.a very interesting talk on her recent tour of the Continent, she being accorded a hearty vote or thanks. The monthly competitions resulted as follows: —Pavlova cake, Mrs Alan Keir, 1; Mrs Keir, 2. Flowers: Mrs Keir. .1; Mrs Scharnwebber. 2. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Stempa and Alan Keir.
