CHURCH SERVICES

Advent Sunday services will be held at St. Matthew's Church tomorrow. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. The vicar will conduct the service in the morning, and at 7 p.m. the preacher will be the Rev. Hepa Taepa. The annual prize-giving service will be held at Taueru at 2.30 p.m.. and the Rew T. V. Pearson will preach at Kuripuni at 7 p.m. I A communion service will be held at I the Masterton Baptist Fellowship in (the Y.M.C.A. Hall tomorrow morning 'and an evangelistic service will be held in the evening, commencing at 7 o'clock. Sunday school will assemble at 10 a.m. The president of the Methodis 1 Church, the Rev. Angus Mcßean, will be the preache!' at the Methodist Church tomorrow evening, the morning service being conducted by the Rev. Fredk. J. Parker. Mi- Parker will also conduct the Wangaehu service at 2.30 p.m. The services at the Salvation Army tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs MahalTie. The Major will continue his series of addresses at the morning service on “The Happy Christian." In the evening service the Major will take for his subject. "Sec-1 ond-hand Religion." On Sunday morning. December 10. at II o'clock. Colonel Grattan will conduct the service. All are welcome at the Army's services.
