ANOTHER NAZI FABLE
ALLEGED DESTRUCTION OF CRUISER. COMPLETE ADMIRALTY DENIAL. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY. December 1. Following upon lhe Admiralty denial that a cruiser of the London class has been destroyed by a U-boat the Germans have attempted to elicit further information by pointing out that this denial does not imply that no disaster has befallen any cruiser and silhouettes that other vessels closely resemble those of the London class. It can be stated on the best authority, however, that no British cruiser of any kind has been sunk.
