LARGE TUNA FISH
CAUGHT BY CALIFORNIAN SPORTSMEN. Not to be outdone by a fisherman who hooked a 868 pound tuna fish off the coast of Eastern Canada recently. John Manning, a Californian sportsman. landed an 890 pounder with rod and line near Halifax, establishing a new world record tor this size of fish. This year’s run of tuna off Canada’s eastern shore has been characterised by the unusually large fish, according to old-time fishermen.
