Mrs G. Godfrey is a Wellington guest at the Hotel Midland, Masterton. Miss M. Hull. Lower Hutt, is spending the weekend in Masterton. Mr and Mrs D. Buchanan, who have been visiting Taupo, have returned home. Mrs Hassell is staying with her daughter. Mrs F. R. Garland. Nursery Road, Masterton. Mrs E. R. Barton and Miss Isobel Barton, Lansdowne, have returned from a visit to Rotorua. Mrs H. B. Dyer, Wellington, is staying with her daughter, Mrs J. M. Andrew. “Awanui,” Whareama. Mrs Dodds, late of Gladstone, who has been visiting Wellington for several months, is the guest of Mrs R. L. McLaren, Roberts Road, Lansdowne. Twenty-five years’ service as a teacher of the Foxton Presbyterian Sunday’ School was recognised at the annual anniversary gathering this week, when Miss B. Spiers was presented with a silver vase by ex-pupils.
