MEDICAL BENEFITS
CHEAP COMMUNITY SERVICE. BY CANBERRA DOCTORS. A community medical benefits scheme, which will provide medical services for all residents upon payment of an annual subscription, provided their income is not more than £520 a year, has been launched by Canberra doctors. Subscriptions will be: —Income not exceeding £260 —without dependants £2 2s. with dependants £4 4s: not exceeding £364 —£212 s 6d and £5 ss: and up to £520, £3 3s and £6 6s. Medical benefits will include: —Medical attendance at home or at a doctor’s surgery, complete annual medical □verhaul, unlimited medical attendance for continued illness, surgical operations and treatment of fractures and dislocations not requiring a specialist. full medical attendance for confinements. and assistance at operations. Diseases or conditions brought about by a patient's own misconduct and risks otherwise insured are not included.
