Mr Sheldon has accepted the Australian proposal, that Fred Henneberry meet Ron Richards for Jhe Empire title and has conceited the Brown match. Mr Sheldon will sail by the Mariposa on December 5, armed with contracts, as Mr Mike Jacobs’s newly-appointed Australian representative, and will bring the Empire winner to New York for the middle-weight title match. Mr Jacobs urged Henneberry to remain, but Mr Sheldon was unwilling to forego the Empire match upon which Mr Jacobs decided to offer the Empire winner a match with Garcia or his successor.
