NEW ZEALAND WOOL

PURCHASE BY CANADA FROM BRITAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. NEW YORK, November 26. The Ottawa representative of the “New York Times” says Canada has fixed the price of wool at 45 cents and will overcome a shortage by the purchase of a million pounds of New Zealand wool held by Britain, thus meeting the objections of a number of independent dealers who were insisting on an increase because of the shortage and the United States quotation of 54 cents.
