A SPLENDID PROJECT
As member for the district, Mr Robertson congratulated the Anglican community upon its wonderful achievement at Sedgley. He said he wanted to reiterate all that had been said by the Mayor and Mr Rich about those who had been concerned in bringing the project of this wonderful home to fruition. No more important or valuable work could be engaged in by any organisation that that of helping the development of young people into citizens able and willing to give service to their fellow men and women and to forward those ideals —spiritual ideals —that we all set before us as the goal of mankind. The value of the work done in a home such as this on
behalf of young boys could not be over-estimated. Everyone must appreciate the tremendous amount of real work and self-sacrifice that had gone into the making of Sedgley as they saw it before them. He expressed the hope that the splendid object aimed at would be achieved in future. (Applause).
