SWEDISH PROTEST

. EXTENSION OF GERMAN MINEFIELD ACCESS TO THE BALTIC CUT OFF. SUGGESTIONS OF EMBARGO ON EXPORTS. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.STOCKHOLM, November 26. Sweden has protested to Germany against the extension of the German minefield off Falsterbo to the extreme south-west of Sweden. .It is declared that the mines close the one deep passage. The other is only sixteen feet deep, for which reason the whole Swedish West Coast fleet is cut off from the Baltic.

The newspapers are indignant over this latest development, implying that Sweden may go to the length of cutting off exports to Germany, including the vital export of iron ore. It is recalled angrily that Germany is still holding thirty-eight Swedish ships.
