AFTER THE WINTER

ANTICIPATION OF GERMAN AIR ATTACKS HIGH OFFICER’S FORECAST. SUPERIOR ALLIED RESOURCES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON. November 26. Air Vice-Mershal T. L. Leigh Mallory. addressing air cadets in Nottingham, said: “I have no doubt that when .the winter passed Herr Hitler will attack us with all he’s got and we will have to deal with very large numbers of aeroplanes. I would be very stupid if I indicated that the Germans could not penetrate this country with the number of aircraft they’ve got, because they will, but when the time comes we shall then have the pilots and the machines to inflict such casualties that they will not keep it up.”
