At the Catholic Cathedral, Barbadoes Street, Christchurch, on Thursday morning, the wedding was celebrated of Kathleen Ethel, only daughter of the Hon D. G. Sullivan and Mrs Sullivan, Christchurch, and Vincent Peter, only son of Mr and Mrs Peter O’Connell, Christchurch. J The death occurred this week at her residence, Lady’s Mile, Foxton, after a short illness, of Mrs Martha Jane Fraser, aged 78 years. During the Great War Mrs Fraser, as mayoress of Foxton, was responsible foi- the organisation of a band of helpers who : carried out much good work for the benefit of the soldiers. She leaves one i son and five daughters.
