NAZI FABLE
DAMAGE TO CAPITAL SHIPS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, November 23. A curious example of recent German broadcast propaganda, is a report which was attributed to the “New York Times.” to the effect that the Hood. Repulse and Renown were being sent to Canada for repair, because of alleged damage they suffered in German attacks on British naval bases. No such report ever appeared in the "New York Times.” for the very good reason that it is untrue.
