LESS CRIME
DURING LONDON BLACKOUT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.17 a.m.) RUGBY. November 24. Figures given by the Home Secre-tary-(Sir J. Anderson) in a Parliamentary answer concerning indictable offences known to the Metropolitan Police shown there has been less crime in London in the blackout period than formerly. The total of the offences for September and October was 12.283. compared with 16.023 in the same period last year.
