WAGE INCREASES
GFANTED IN GREAT BRITAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. LONDON, November 24. Wage increases are announced for 120,000 workers in the rubber, papermaking, drugs, baconr, linen, furniture and engineering industries. The Admiralty has decided to pay war risk money to Admiralty yard craftsmen ranging from 2s 2d to 3s 4d a day. The Glovemakers’ Union and 40,000 London bus and tram workers are seeking higher wages.
