The Maori Camp.

The Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association was yesterday notified that the camp for the Maori Battalion would definitely be established at the Palmerston North Showgrounds for four months from January 18. Lucky to Fall Downstairs. Miss Rose Rosenberg. C.8.E.. secretary to the late Mr Ramsay MacDonald, was married on October 2 at a Chelsea registry office to Mr Laszlo Hoenig. a Hungarian architect and designer. Among - those present were Mr Malcolm MacDonald, the Colonial Secretary, and his brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs Alastair MacDonald. As the bride and bridegroom left the office the bridegroom slipped and fell down several steps. Guests cheered and told him that it meant, good luck.
