“THE MIKADO”

HITLER IN “LITTLE LIST.’’ IN JAPANESE COSTUME. When “The Mikado” appeared in its film version, Koko's famous song, ‘T've Got a Little List,” was missing, says a London paper. A scene embodying it had been “shot," but, for various reasons, one being the changing character of topicalities. those responsible decided not to show it. Now. for its general release. "The Mikado” has had a "little list” scene restored to it. Martyn Green, as Koko, sings that on his little list he has got: All apologetic statesmen of a compromising kind. Such as "What d'ycu call" and “Things o’ my bob" and —oh. well, never mind. The task of filling up the blanks I’d rather leave to you. Then the figure of Koko changes to one of Hitler in Japanese costume, surrounded by a flutter oi Nazi salutes.
