"CALLING ALL STARS." The current programme at the Cosy Theatre, headed by "Calling all Stars." will be finally shown tonight. “TORCHY BLANE IN PANAMA." Lola Lane and Paul Kelly come to the Cosy Theatre tomorrow night as the stars of “Torchy Btane in Panama." the latest series of humorous and exciting pictures about the exploits of that dashing and daring girl reporter whose nickname is “Torchy.” Deriving both humour and melodrama from a bank holdup staged while a parade of a fictitious Lodge of Loyal Leopards is in progress, "Torchy Blane in Panama” takes its heroine and her detective sweetheart on a hair-raising chase of the bandit, which finally lands them in Panama, after Torchy has used an airplane, a parachute and a steamship to catch up with her quarry.
"Garden of the Moon.” the newest musical, with Pat. O'Brien. Margaret Lindsay and John Payne in the top roles, is the associate feature. The story deals with a feud between a hotel. manager, played by O'Brien, and an impertinent young band leader, played by Payne, who in this picture makes his debut as a singing, romantic Star. Also screening is the 6th chapter of the exciting "Lone Ranger”
