Enemy aircraft unsuccessfully attacked shipping in the Shetland area during the morning. Driven off by anti-aircraft gunfire the machines then attacked and set on fire, by means ol a bomb, a Royal Air Force seaplant lying at her moorings. There were nc casualties. Nazi bombers were over the Shetlands for fifteen minutes and bombs were dropped. Anti-aircraft fire drove off the attackers, which swooped low. It is believed that six Nazi planes participated in the raid.
