REPORTS OF INDISCRIMINATE PERSECUTION. EXPLANATION SOUGHT BY VATICAN. LONDON, November 22. The Rome correspondent of “The Times” says that the recent disorders

in Bohemia have led to a renewal of attacks against the Catholics, whom the Nazis are indiscriminately persecuting. They have arrested two priests and 40 laymen and charged them with communicating with Catholics in countries hostile to Germany in order to foment disorders in Czechoslovakia. The Vatican is seeking an explanation, in default of which it.will protest to Berlin.
