SWISS PROTEST

The Associated Press of America’s Berne correspondent says Switzerland has protested to Germany against German anti-aircrapt shells falling in Basle on. November 18. when German anti-aircraft batteries fired on a French plane. The German Minister apologised for German aeroplanes involuntarily violating Swiss air space, but added that a violation of the frontier by shells was not mentioned by his Government. FIRE OPENED SWISS ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUNS. (Received This Dav, 1.3(1 p.m.) BASLE. November 20. The Swiss Army announces that foreign aircraft repeatedly violated Swiss territory on November 17 and 18. Several planes wore identified as German. German leaflets were dropped. Swiss anti-aircraft guns opened fire. MENACING TACTICS PERSISTENT VIOLATIONS BY GERMANS. 'Received This Day. 1.30 p.m.) LONDON. November 2(1. "The Times" Paris correspondent says it is. reported that German planes are making a practice of violating Belgian, Dutch and Swiss neutrality. German troop concentrations are still maintained close to the Belgian and Dutch frontiers.
