HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
SPRING SHOW TOMORROW. EXCELLENT ENTRIES RECEIVED. The Masterton Horticultural and Industrial Society’s Spring Show, which is to be held in the Municipal Hall tomorrow. will be officially opened at 3 p.m. by Mr J. Robertson. M.P., who will be accompanied by Mrs Robertson. The secretary. Mr E. K. Eastwood, states that entries promise to be particularly good, the large number of early entries being a good omen for the success of the show. Special exhibits include a carpet of flowers (a novel idea to Masterton exhibitors) by the Masterton Ranfurly Club, and an exhibit from the Garden Circle of the Country Women's Club.
Late entries will be accepted by Mr E. K. Eastwood. 5-Perry Street. Masterton. until six o'clock tonight.
