GOLD MINING RETURNS.

The Worksop Extended dredge returned 370 z for 117 hours from 9000 yards. The White's Electric return totalled ■IGoz for 117 hours for 7450 yards. The New River dredge reports that, there was no wash-up last week as the dredge is still working in tailings. Golden Dawn Gold Mines, Ltd., reports that during the period ended November 11. the drive on No. 5 reef from the winze below No. 3 level was extended to 21 feet. The reef, which was from 3 to 4J ft wide, assayed from 7s 7d to £1 9s 6d per ton. Work was then commenced on drive south from the winze, and same extended a further (to 24ft) with reef 7ft wide and assaying at top £2 19s 2d and bottom £1 16s 2d per ton. The Argo dredge return was 440 z for 127 hours from 14,000 yards.
